Remember those Samsung flexible and Unbreakable AMOLED displays? To bring your dream phones in reality Samsung were working on such display and finally to give a big headache to Apple the company just confirmed a Flexible AMOLED screen equipped Android Smartphone to be called Galaxy Skin will available in Q2 2012. Those devices shown back in CES were just concept but according to International Business Times “Galaxy Skin” is a true and we even treated with some photos.
As the specs were suggested, Galaxy Skin 4″ flexible Super AMOLED display (480×800), a 1.2 GHz processor (no report on single or dual-core), 1 GB of RAM, either 16 or 32 GB of storage, an 8 MP rear camera and VGA front camera, and a 1500 mAh battery. They even mentioned the dimensions of the phone is 221x67x8 mm which is about the same dimensions as the Samsung Galaxy S II, but nearly twice as long with the fold-able Flexible AMLOED display.
For the operating system Galaxy Skin rumored to feature the next-generation Jelly Bean(Google’s next project after Ice Cream Sandwich), but a new kind of OS called Android Flexy also came out from the rumor mill.
With new core technology and applications Galaxy Skin can be used as a full-time mouse. The device, apart from being a smartphone, can be turned into a table clock on or can be worn as a wrist-watch. It can also act as a smart projector when placed on table. So, what you think guys? Go ahead Apple, show us something back.
